Keri Hilson

SO recently i've been listening to awhole bunch of Keri Hilson's msuic. She's really different and i think she doesn get the acknoledgment she deserves. She's been on alot of tracks but people dont take account that it is actually her singing. I can wait to copp her CD when it comes out, It releases December 9th so you should check it out too. She's been on the scene for years now writing and singing. But finally it is her time to shine and she's not gonna let the opportuniy pass her by.

BE ORIGINAL?

Original

It's a word used by many to describe themselves. But then does that make you original. If your being "original" to be out of the ordinary don't you think that there are others TRYING to do the same. Why even bother to be original when the fact is the people who actually are are looked down upon in society.You see me, original is not how i describe myself. The thing is i CAN'T describe myself because there are so many bits and pieces of me the puzzle just doesn't fit together. I actually don't want it to fit together Because then instead of not knowing who i am i would know who i am which ends the journey i have been on my entire life.People always say "think out side the box". Why is that. If want people to be individual let them pick the shape they want to think out of.Everyday you add something to who you are. There is no need to ACT or PRETEND to be something you are not just so you are looked upon as "original". Live your Life and be you and it will all come to you.In time you will be your own trendsetter, people will follow or jock but soon enough they will find their own style. be you and for lack of a better word ORIGINAL

Theres this sartist named mateo. I think he's really talented. His music isnt out there yet but from what i've heard its really good.

What the hell is wrong with society. I go to pickup my little cousin from school and she is balling like crazy.She says everyone is making fun of her becuase she is dark. I've never had to go through that becuase i'm not dark, But she's only 8. It's not alright for a little girl to be put down because of how she looks. Society these days only advertise the tall, skinny, ligkskinned girls. That lowers younger girls selfesteem and puts a thought in a childs mind that they have to look like that and nothin else is escepted. Why is it that if you look different you are put down for it? Name a magazine that advertises models that weight over 100 pounds. When was the last time you saw an African American who is dark skinned, with natural hair, and african features havea a lead role in a video? Embrace who you are Not what you want to be? and dont put others down becasue they are different.
